After taking somewhat of a hiatus after her first release in 2008 ("Lone Lily"), Regan Lorraine is back at it with more force than ever before. Working alongside producer/engineer Russ Long (Wilco, Sixpence None the Richer, Guy Clark) the two of them have been able to execute what sounds like years of craftsmanship in just 6 months of working together in Nashville. Though they may attribute it all to the qualifications of the players behind the music, it goes without saying that without Regan's exposed, raw lyrics they would have nothing. Her debut album "Shelf Life" is due to release this September and it's chocked full with all the ammunition she needs to make a great first impression. With the likes of Michael Trent (Shovels and Rope), the McCrary Sisters (Carrie Underwood, Buddy Guy) and a cast of industry veterans contributing to the album, it's sure to impress.
She's come a long way from her Northern Indiana roots and we can't wait to see where she's going next.
